FAQs

Here are some answers to common questions asked about the beauty and holistic treatments offered at my Poole salon. If your query isn't answered below, please contact me, I will be happy to help. 10% DISCOUNT ON FIRST VISIT for clients wishing to switch from other Poole holistic treatments or Bournemouth holistic treatments in the Dorset area.

1. Appointments
I would be grateful if clients could arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment as I do not have a receptionist or waiting area.

2. Cancellations
I am extrememely busy and often have clients on a waiting list for appointments so if you need to cancel please have the courtesy to let me know as soon as you can so that I can book someone else in.

3. Parking
There is free parking either on my driveway or on the road.

4. How to pay
I only accept cash or cheque payments. No credit card or debit cards are accepted.

5. Pedicures
Please remember to bring open-toed sandals for pedicures - even in the winter! This will ensure your polish can dry properly without smudging. Polish takes several hours to dry rock hard and can be rubbed off in your shoes if you put them on too soon. Just to be sure you're not wasting your money on a polished finish that could be spoilt, bring your flip-flops with you or keep them in your car as some of my regulars do!

6. Pregnancy Massage
Many of my treatments can be easily tailored to suit pregnant clients and are, in fact, highly recomended by them!
I use a reflexology chair that reclines to any position to offer you the best level of comfort - thereby helping to prevent indigestion, discomfort, pressure points, cutting off blood supply, etc.

The Luxury Facial is a particular favourite as this can be carried out in the reflexology chair. You can enjoy a full facial and then benefit from a welcome massage of the face, scalp, hands & lower arms, feet and lower legs. How indulgent! This treatment is often purchased as a gift voucher for an expectant mother so that she has the choice of taking it before or after the birth.

The Luxury Pedicure is especially suitable for pregnant clients since they may be finding it more difficult to reach their toenails as time goes on! This treatment includes filing, cuticle work, exfoliation, massage, foot mask with heated bootees, scalp or hand massage and nail polish to finish - maybe add some nail art too for an extra special treat.
